Community Ministry

The community sponsors a Catholic girls high school, St. Lucy's Priory High, which has around 900 students and St. Lucy’s Benedictine Child Development Center, adjacent to the high school, which serves 70-100 children. Several of the sisters minister in these institutions.   In addition, community members continue to minister in a number of parishes as well as other professional fields not connected to traditional teaching ministries.

Community Prayer

Traditionally in all Benedictine communities, the morning begins with prayer and the evening closes with prayer.
